Downsizing and living small is still in style. People all over the country are trading in their square footage for mobility and compactness, reducing their carbon footprint and their expenses. Intrigued? Then make your way to the 2018 Florida Tiny House Music Festival on November 16-18 at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds. At this year’s event, there will be a large assortment of tiny houses and micro homes, workshops, presentations by industry experts on all thing tiny homes, a large assortment of vendors, live entertainment, plenty of activities for children, and lots more. You can explore canned ham-style campers and micro Airstreams, gypsy wagons and yurts in the Bohemian Village, converted school buses, privately-owned tiny homes, and tiny home models. You can even meet with builders in Tool City.
Early bird admission is available on Friday from 12-4pm for $10. Friday from 5-8pm is free to the public. The Festival will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-6pm. One-day tickets are $20 at the gate and two-day tickets are $35 at the gate. You can also pre-purchase tickets online for $15 for one-day admission and $30 for two-day admission.
SPEAKERS
Multiple stages will feature experts from the industry talking about the various aspects of tiny house living. In a series of presentations, these speakers will offer inspiration and insight for tiny house owners, enthusiasts, and even just the curious. A full schedule of presentations can be found here.
